Zach and Sara met during the summer of 2022 through a group of mutual friends in Tuscaloosa, AL! They started dating later that fall and have been inseparable ever since. After Sara graduated from The University of Alabama in May of 2023, the couple decided to move into their first apartment together in downtown Tuscaloosa! Zach and Sara welcomed home Rocky, their English Bulldog, later that summer as well. Rocky has been their whole world from the moment they met him! Zach and Sara eventually purchased their first home in Tuscaloosa during the fall of 2023! They have loved hosting their friends and family for football games, holidays, and fun weekends in their backyard. They are so excited to make more memories in their home together! On September 27, 2024, Zach asked Sara to marry him! He surprised her with an engagement party that same evening and invited all of their family and closest friends to celebrate. It was such a memorable day that they will cherish forever. The couple cannot wait for their future together as Mr. and Mrs. Christman!!

We would love to see our guests dress up on our special day! We are kindly requesting that guests wear all-black formal attire! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom.

Overview:

There are many hotels in the Charleston area, so we are suggesting a few options for guests who are unfamiliar with the area! We recommend guests stay in downtown Charleston, West Ashley, or Folly Beach, as those neighborhoods are closer to our venue! Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, and Sullivan's Island have wonderful accommodations, but please note they are a bit further away from our venue before booking!

Airbnb and VRBO

Please feel comfortable finding your own accommodations in any part of Charleston, whether through other hotels or AirBnB/Vrbo. There are so many house rentals on Airbnb and Vrbo in the greater Charleston area! This alternative is perfect for guests who may choose to extend their stay in Charleston beyond our wedding day!

West Ashley is a perfect neighborhood to enjoy both the entertainment and relaxation Charleston has to offer! This hotel is a quick drive to the Charleston Historic District and also Folly Beach!
